Signing up to broadband
Equipment that you will need
If you have not had broadband before, when you sign up you can select to receive all of the equipment that you need to connect to the internet including a router and all of the cables. Your equipment is free when you sign up for a 24 month contract or charged for if you sign up to a 12 month contract. If you already have a router you can opt to simply sign up to broadband and receive no equipment.
Ensuring that you have a phone line
To receive broadband you need to have a phone line connected to your property. Most properties in the island should have a phone line already connected but if not you will need to apply to have a phone line installed when signing up for broadband. If you already have a phone line the application for broadband and any direct debit must be from the account holder of the telephone line.
