How to sign up
- If you are not already a Sure Pay As You Go customer simply visit us in store to get a Pay As You Go SIM card and sign up to Sure Indie in store
- If you're already a Pay As You Go customer, text the name of the Indie plan that you want to sign up to e.g. Indie125 to 101 or call our customer services on 07624 247 247.

Please ensure that you top up with enough credit on your phone as the cost of the plan will be taken out when you sign up. If you sign up in the middle of the month you will only be charged proportionally for the remainder of that month and will receive the proportional amount of free minutes, texts and data.
Paying for your Indie contract
On the first day of each month at midnight the cost of your chosen Indie plan is deducted from your Pay As You Go credit. If you do not have enough credit at the start of the month or when you sign up, the credit will still be taken from your account and you will see a negative balance when you check your balance by dialling *#100#. Your allocation of free minutes, texts and data is credited on the first day of the month when credit for your Indie Plan is deducted.
You will not be able to make any calls, use data or send texts (even using your free allocation) until your balance is positive again by topping up. You will still be able to receive texts and calls with a negative balance however. If you remain in negative balance for the whole month, you will then stop being able to make or receive calls or texts until you top up to a positive balance.
Roaming with Pay As You Go and Indie
Roaming is the same with Pay As You Go and Sure Indie. Any free minutes, texts and data can only be used when you are connected to the Sure network in Guernsey, Jersey and the Isle of Man. Making calls and sending texts will be charged at standard roaming rates when you are abroad.
Sure Indie and Pay As You Go users can call and text when abroad wherever we have a Pay As You Go roaming agreement. In each country we may only have roaming agreements with certain operators, so to ensure that you are able to use your phone abroad you may need to manually select the correct operator on your mobile. Pay As You Go and Sure Indie customers cannot currently use mobile internet abroad, only when connected to the Sure network in Guernsey, Jersey or the Isle of Man.
Cancel Sure Indie
Your Sure Indie Plan will remain active until you request for it to be deactivated by visiting us in store or calling on 07624 247 247 when you'll be reverted back to Pay As You Go.
Any inclusive texts or minutes that you have left when you cancel Sure Indie will continue to be available until the end of the month, but these will revert back for the remaining time to standard Pay As You Go destinations (Sure mobiles on the Sure network only) instead of texts to any destinations and calls to UK, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey landlines and mobiles. This is why we recommend that if you cancel your Sure Indie plan you wait until the end of the month to get the best value. You can re-join Indie anytime by signing up again in the usual way.
Check your minutes, texts & data allocation

To see how many free minutes or texts you have left simply dial *#100# and a text response will show you your remaining free credit as well as your normal credit. Unfortunately the text response will not show you the free data allocation you have remaining. To find out how much data you have left as well please dial 178 to hear your remaining balance of texts, calls and data.
Using inclusive minutes, data & texts
If you do not use all of your included allocation or cancel Sure Indie
If you do not use all of your free allocation, your free minutes, data and texts will roll over for 1 month only and will be added to your new allocation of minutes, data and texts at the beginning of the next month.
If you cancel your Sure Indie contract you will keep the free minutes, texts and data until the end of the month that you paid for, but these will revert back to standard Pay As You Go destinations (Sure mobiles on the Sure network only) instead of texts to any destinations and calls to UK, Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey and Guernsey landlines and mobiles.
We recommend that if you would like to cancel Sure Indie that you do so at the very end of the month so that you can use the free minutes and texts that you paid for to more destinations. Any remaining free minutes, data and texts will be wiped from your account on the last day of the month in which you cancelled.
